Exploring what it means to perform, lead, and live well.

My work lives in the space between achievement and what comes next.

After a 15-year rowing career in high-pressure environments around the world, I retired as an Olympic Champion and Olympic Record Holder following the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. What followed wasn’t a victory lap, but a rapid transition into the corporate world, and deeper questions about identity, ambition, the hidden costs of success, and how purpose is redefined when familiar structures fall away.

Those questions now shape my writing, speaking, and work with individuals and organisations.

I believe high performance should not come at the expense of wellbeing, relationships, or meaning. Sustainable excellence depends on clarity, culture, and leadership that sees people as whole - not just productive. My focus is helping individuals and teams perform at their best while staying connected to what truly matters.

My perspective blends lived experience with rigorous study - I merge my formal education from UC Berkeley and Oxford University, with my Olympic journey, with real-world experience in complex, high-pressure environments. Rather than offering formulas, I focus on how leadership and culture are actually experienced day to day: under pressure, through change, and over time.

Today, alongside my full-time role as Change Partner in the People and Culture team at Bunnings Warehouse (previously Management Consultant at KPMG), I work with leaders and teams navigating demanding environments. Through practical insight and honest conversation, I help remove roadblocks, rethink performance, and build careers and lives that are both high-achieving and deeply aligned.

What I offer

Speaking & Facilitation

In both in-person and online events, I speak with organisations, teams, and communities about leadership, transition, resilience, and identity - drawing on my experience as an Olympic athlete, MBA graduate, and leadership practitioner.

My sessions are reflective, practical, and grounded in lived experience rather than performance.

Topics often include (but not limited to):

  • Genuine leadership beyond titles and roles

  • Identity after success or transition

  • Navigating uncertainty and change

  • High performance without burnout

  • Self awareness and intrinsic motivation

.

1:1 Work

I work with a handful of individual people across different stages of life and performance, including:

  • High school-aged athletes navigating pressure, identity, and expectations alongside education

  • University and college students managing transition, ambition, and uncertainty as they define what success means for them

  • Elite athletes and high performers seeking sustainable performance beyond results alone

  • Founders and entrepreneurs operating in high-stakes, fast-moving environments

  • Senior leaders and corporate executives leading teams through complexity, change, and sustained pressure

Podcasts & Conversations

Conversation has always been central to my work.

I co-host podcasts exploring women’s sport, leadership, and lived experience, and regularly join conversations as a guest across sport, business, and culture.

Alexis Monks - Co-Founder of Decima2

"Working with Rosie has fundamentally changed how I show up as a founder. As an Olympic gold medallist, she has an exceptional understanding of team dynamics and performance under pressure, but what truly sets her apart is her ability to restore energy and focus when you feel completely depleted.

Founding can feel like pushing a rock up a hill with no end in sight. Rosie listens deeply, then cuts through the noise with precision, helping me recognise the wins, properly process the losses, and reconnect with sustainable motivation, clarity, and confidence. Her encouragement is grounded and exactly what you need when momentum feels hard-won.

In the time we’ve worked together, we’ve won the Oxbridge AI Challenge, raised over £400k with backing from Haatch and a Y Combinator partner, and achieved recognition including Women TechEU, Tech Nation Rising Stars, and multiple competitive AI wins.

Rosie helps you become a stronger, more resilient version of yourself within a team. She enables you to keep showing up for yourself, even in the most demanding moments. If you are serious about building an exceptional company, you want Rosie on your side."
